Friends of Belle Isle Aquarium
The city of Detroit decided to close the Belle Isle Aquarium to help balance the budget.
Good idea... let's close the oldest public aquarium in the United States... but spend $24,995 a year to lease the Mayor a Lincoln Navigator.
Hey, while we are at it, why don't we cut 900 jobs? How about bus service? That's isn't important, right?
